Additional Currency: the first three acquisition currencies are free for WorldDirect customers. The additional currency fee applies when this limit is exceeded.

 

Settlement/remittance occurs when the money that's due to you from transactions gets paid into your bank account. Before it gets to your bank account, bank transfer charges, WorldPay's transaction charges, and refunds (see Chargebacks below) are deducted from this money.

The money from transactions is usually settled to WorldDirect customers every week, four weeks in arrears.

Charges per remittance
We support the following remittance currencies:

Remittance in New Zealand Dollars to a bank account located in New Zealand - NZ$7 per remittance.
Remittance in New Zealand Dollars to a bank account located outside New Zealand - NZ$30 per remittance.
Remittance in Australian Dollars to a bank account located in Australia - AU$7 per remittance.
Remittance in Australian Dollars to a bank account located outside Australia - AU$30 per remittance.
Remittance in US Dollars to any bank account located outside the US - US$16 per remittance.

The minimum amount that can be settled is NZ$340.00, AU$260.00 or US$150.

 

A chargeback occurs when the bank that issued the debit or credit card to a person who bought goods from your business, reverses the transaction, even though it had previously been cleared.

A chargeback can happen at any time, sometimes months after the transaction took place, and for a number of reasons. Sometimes the shopper claims that he never received the goods, or that the goods were defective in some way. Sometimes the transaction is reversed because a stolen card number was used to purchase goods.

Chargeback pricing: due to the costs involved in reversing transactions, WorldPay will charge you NZ$ 35 for every chargeback.

 

WorldPay offers registered charities discounted pricing on the following products:

WorldDirect
Registered charities who choose WorldDirect, WorldPay's merchant account, are exempted from the annual fee. WorldAlert, including WorldAlert Configurator functionality, is provided free of charge. WorldDirect transaction charges (which are inclusive of account charges) are also lower. The charge for multicurrency processing is 3.25% per transaction

All Other Pricing
Pricing for additional products, settlement pricing and chargeback pricing, are not currently discounted for registered charities.

 


Bank Acquired Merchants Only
Merchants with an existing Merchant ID will pay their current charges plus 1.9% for Credit card transactions and 25p only for Debit cards. Your Merchant ID will have to be approved for Internet transactions by your bank.
